Precautions for tire repair with vacuum tire repair tools

The tire repair tool has two tools with handles, an awl that can be inserted into the strip, a round trowel-type awl, and a small bag with a viscous strip that requires a small tire air pump.

(1) First find the wound in which the tire is punctured, and pull out the punctured tire.

(2) Clean up the debris near the wound. If the puncture point is small, you need to first expand it with a round filed auger (to the size of the hole and the size of the strip is similar).

(3) Then insert the strip into the break with the awl wearing the strip. Do not insert the strip into the tire, leaving about 1cm outside the tire.

(4) Pull out the awl tire and make up. A strip of glue can be used in two sections. If the break is large, insert a few more. The tire is then inflated with an air pump.

The entire process takes about a few minutes and there is no need to remove the tire from the rim. However, when the mouth is on the side of the tire and is relatively large, this method can only be used as an emergency. At the same time, remind the owner of the car, after using the rubber strip method to repair the tires, be sure to drive the car to a professional tire shop for testing.

Precautions for matters related to tire repair:

(1) It should be noted that the method of repairing tires is diverse, but not. If there is a wound of more than 6cm in the tire wall (that is, on the side of the tire), or if the crown is pierced by objects such as steel bars, causing a large loophole, it is generally better to replace the tire. Because such a tire is not only difficult to make up, but the effect after the supplement is not reassuring, let it retire.

(2) At present, some tire repair stores in the market still do not provide tire repair services, but only tire change. Therefore, it is recommended that you choose to go to a professional tire shop to repair your tires.
