The feature of single-column car lift is of only one single column which lifts the car by hydraulic or mechanical action. Some are fixed to the ground and others are also mobile. Since it has only one column, it has poor stress conditions and poor working stability when lifting. Therefore this type is rarely used except for a few mobile lifts.
The double-column lift is the main force of the lift, especially the double-column hydraulic lift. It is the main equipment for the car repair enterprise. It features two columns that are lifted by a hydraulic cylinder or screw nut drive. It has 3t, 3.5t, 4t and other lifting weights. It is the most commonly used type of car repair, occupying the vast majority of lifts.
The four-post lift features four columns that are lifted by a hydraulic cylinder or screw nut drive. It is mainly used to lift various cars below 20t. Commonly used is a four-post lift for four-wheel positioning with a secondary lift.
